FOR EVERYONE WHO ASKS ME ABOUT LAXATIVES, AND FOR EVERYONE WHO THINKS THEY’RE A GOOD WAY TO LOSE “WEIGHT” AND GET A NICE TEENY TINY TUMMY.
I am here to tell you that you are WRONG. You will not get a teeny tiny tummy. You will get this. I’ve barely eaten in days and yet my stomach still looks like it is pregnant with a toddler because my colon is so inflamed from laxative abuse. It has been like this for years. Now, anytime I eat/consume anything, it swells. And it fucking sucks. So there you go. Laxatives in all their ~m1@~ glory.

The idea of using laxatives to lose weight has always confused me. I understand the logic used, the food you’ve eaten is expelled quickly and therefore can’t be stored as fat, but as a sufferer of IBS I know how much it can hurt the body physically to have to go that much.
Now, I should also state that due to my IBS I have never taken a laxative in my life and therefore do not know how it fully works on the body.
I do know what it’s like to lose a great meal at the drop of a hat. I’m starving after flairups but typically I’ve already reached my calorie goal for the day and therefore can’t justify eating a new meal to replace it.
Please be aware of how little this method helps.
